Team LEYLA Images on tuesday 12th May paid a surprise working visit to the Atua Government Hospital in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality to celebrate the International Nurses Day with the selfless and dedicated Nurses working at the Facility.
The International Nurses Day is celebrated annually by the International Council of Nurses, the Day celebrates the contribution that nurses make to societies around the world. The date has a very strong significance, being the birthday of perhaps the world’s most famous nurse, Florence Nightingale.
The team Leader of the group, Emmanuel Kwesi Tetteh popularly KINGLEYLA in a brief Celebration message Appreciated the efforts of the entire Nursing fraternity working at the Atua Government Hospital as well as the great and unique team of Nurses risking everything on daily basis to save the lives of the good people in the Krobo Land area and Ghana at large especially in this Covid-19 pandemic hard times.
He continued to say special Ayekoo to the Nurses sacrificing a lot to work in the deprived rural communities in the Krobo Land area as part of their committed quest to save lives.
Head of the Accident and Emergency ward at the Atua Government Hospital, Eunice Ofosu Manu offered a comprehensive tour around the facility with the team from LEYLA images to see for them sacrifices the nurses makes on daily basis on this special day as the world celebrates them.

The acting head of Nursing at the hospital, Christine Vandem-Bossche used the opportunity to expressed her heart felt appreciation to the entire Nursing fraternity around the world especially the team of Nurses she is currently leading at the Atua Government Hospital. On behalf of the Hospital Management , she said Ayekoo to all the Nurses for the sacrifices they’re making on daily basis to save lives.

She concluded by appealing to the general public to strictly adhere to the public health protocols and other protocols such compulsory wearing of face masks in these trying times of the Corona virus crisis to protect themselves and save the lives of the Frontline nurses and other health workers.
