The Yilo Krobo Women’s Wing of the New Patriotic Party on Sunday September 13, 2020 organised a Women’s Delegates conference at Somanya as part of preparation ahead of the election 2020.
The conference was used to outline plans for the campaign period for the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections 2020.
Hajia Fati Yondoli, the Eastern Regional Women Organizer of the NPP who was the special guest speaker at the event lauded the Constituency leadership of the Party especially the women’s front for mobilizing the women in the Constituency building their capacities and preparing them for the door to door campaign ahead of elections.
Hajia Fati appeal to the gathering to go out there and preach the good governance the NPP government under the able leadership of H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has given Ghanaians in the past years for a successful reelection to do more for Ghanaians.
The Yilo Krobo Constituency Chairman of the NPP, Dr. Gabriel Odeh Apotey in his address outlined the campaign plans as he made it clear that the Constituency will have a better chance of winning the Parliamentary seat for the first time and increase the Presidential votes in the area if they all work hard in unity.
Dr. Gabriel Odeh Apotey assured that, as the Chairman of the NPP he will do everything within his leadership capacity to mobilize the needed resources for the campaign to get the needed victory for the NPP to do more for Yilo Krobo and Ghana at large.
Mr. Christian Tettey, Founder of the NPP in the Yilo Krobo Constituency as he addressed the conference expressed his joy to see the NPP in the Yilo Krobo Constituency having a formidable force today who are ready and dedicated to work for Victory 2020 for the NPP at the Constituency Parliamentary level and the Presidential level in the upcoming election.
Mr. Christian Tettey said, gone were the days you can’t see proud NPP members walking on the streets of Somanya with Party colours as he applause the current leadership of the Party in the area of the good work they are doing as he assured them of maximum support for the 4 more to Do More for Ghanaians agenda of the New Patriotic Party.
Mr. Richard Twum Barimah Koranteng, 2nd Vice Chairman of the NPP in the Eastern Region led a high powered delegation of the NPP from the regional level to support the program.
