DO II Lamptey Stanley, Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Fire Service Commander applaud his team of officers for their selflessness and committed service in the management of Fire and other related emergency which had increased by 13% in the year 2020.
The Municipal Fire Service Commander made this statement during a working visit of a team from www.krobolandonline.com to the Fire Station at Kpong in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality in the Eastern Region.
DO II Lamptey Stanley also used the opportunity to called on all stakeholders to play active role in the fight against all fire and other related emergencies in the Lower Manya Krobo area.
ADO II Sintim Richard Aboagye, during the special parade organized in the honor of the their visiting delegation used the opportunity to appeal to the leadership of the Ghana Water Company Limited and other stakeholders to repair and restore water supply to some of the faulty fire hydrants in the Municipality which has been down for some time now as he advised that more fire hydrants must be created in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality to ease the work of fire fighters.
He continued to say that for the Fire fighters to effectively discharge their duties during Fire emergencies they must have easy access to water supply in times of fire emergencies.
The District fire Commander used the opportunity to call on the general public to proactively call the Fire Stations in the area during Fire emergencies as he advised the general public to save the numbers of the Kpong Fire Station on their phones for easy access during Fire emergency and other enquiries.
