Some beneficiaries of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Skills Training Programme in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality have successfully completed their apprenticeship and received certificates awarded by the Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Service.

The certification ceremony took place on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the forecourt of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly. Addressing the gathering, the Municipal Director of the YEA, Mr. Godwin Oblanda A. D. Totroku, congratulated the beneficiaries on their achievement.

Mr. Totroku emphasized that the government, through the YEA, has invested significant resources in facilitating the training and certification of the youth. He urged the beneficiaries to put their newly acquired skills to productive use to help reduce the growing unemployment rate in the country.

He also assured the youth of the Municipality that the YEA is committed to ensuring that Lower Manya Krobo receives its fair share of all YEA initiatives, which are designed to create sustainable employment opportunities for the youth across the nation.
