Madam Veronica Baah, a proud Krobo who resides in the United States has opted to give the deplorable Akro Basic School- Laasi road a facelift.
The decision was taken when Madam Veronica who had returned home for vacation and saw the unmotorable nature of the link.
After several consultation with stakeholders, the Municipal Assembly who disclosed to her that it have that stretch in their plans for inner roads but currently there’s no funds to reconstruct the road.
She personally paid for the several trips of filling materials and the fuel costs for the heavy earth equipment to undertake the project as Nafcity Properties and Machinery are also giving free equipments and personal to get the area fixed.
Mr. Kwesi Ofori, CEO of Nafcity Properties and Machinery in an Interview with www.krobolandonline.com said upon receiving the move by Mad. Veronica Baah decided to also support them with equipments and man power to execute the project which will serve the best interest of the residents.
He said they have advised Mad. Veronica Baah to create one side culvert to protect the road which she has agreed to do it and they’re currently working on it.
