The Late Sr. Mary Dora Josephine Effah was laid to rest at Agormanya in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality today Thursday 20th May, 2021.

Sr. Josephine Dora Effah who has been sick in the past gave up to ghost after several medical treatment and other special care ending this earth journey on the 27th April, 2021.

She was born at Nkawkaw on 1st January, 1958 to Mr. Anthony Ahimah and Madam Mary Oforiwa both of blessed Memory.

As she was born into a Catholic family she was Baptized into the Catholic Church on 28th May, 1959.

Sr. Josephine completed St. Catherine’s Middle School in 1975 at Nkawkaw and later continued at the St. Anne’s Vocational School, Nuaso in 1978.

Sr. Josephine Dora Effah had served under the following appointment ;
Archbishop’s House – 1984
Osu Community – 1985
Christ the King Community – 1990
Nuaso Community – 1991-1995
Corpus Christi School – 1998
St. John’s Clinic Ntronang-1999
Ofoase – 2013.

The Burial Mass of the Late Sr. Josephine Dora Effah which was held today at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Agormanya saw a lot of Religious in the Catholic Church including the higher hierarchy of the HDR sisters from far and near present.

The holy Mass was Presided over by Rev. Monsignor Paul Lawer who entreated the gathering to live a life worth celebrating on the days of departure from this world as he led the congregation to pray for the Soul of the Late Sr. Josephine Dora Effah.

Fr. Joseph A. A. Asumadu, Parish Priest of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Agormanya on behalf of the entire Parish expressed their heartiest appreciation to all family, friends and Sympathizers for the numerous support given to the Church family in this hard times.
