The Odumase-Krobo District Police Command has held a special operation in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
The operation led by the Odumase-krobo District Police Commander, Supt. Doris Akua Hukporti had arrested several road offenders.
The operation impounded several motor bikes, tricycles, commercial and private vehicles.
Most of the arrested private cars were using expired DV documents whiles others were driving without license.
The motor bikes arrested in majority were bikes without registration documents.
Supt. Doris Akua Hukporti, Odumase-Krobo District Police Commander in an interview with www.krobolandonline.com stated that his men will undertake due screening of the offenses and process the offenders to court for the Law to take it course.
She continued to caution motorists to make sure all their documentation are up to date adding that, it is in their own safety and the good of other road users.
The Odumase District Police made it clear in her interaction with the media after the exercise that the team of Police officers under her Leadership are prepared to enforce all the road safety laws and regulations to the fullest and due to that several of similar operations will be carried out in the area.
She appealed to all stakeholders in the area to assist in this special operations to save lives and properties.
