Hon. Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi, Member of Parliament for Lower Manya Krobo Constituency and former Deputy Minister for the Interior, has called on all NDC faithfuls and party leadership in the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency to rally behind the President’s appointees from the area. According to him, their support and unity within the party’s structures are crucial for the appointees to deliver effectively on their mandates and to facilitate development in the constituency.
He made this appeal during a get-together held at the residence of Hon. John Atteh Matey, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality. The event followed a Thanksgiving Service organized to express gratitude to God after a demanding political season.
Addressing party members, Hon. Terlabi urged the rank and file of the NDC in the Krobo Bloc to exercise patience with the President’s appointees, noting that many of them are still settling into their roles. He stressed that disunity at this stage could be detrimental to the party’s progress and might derail efforts to fulfill campaign promises.
“Unity is the only way we can build a strong front and deliver on our commitments to the people. Disunity at this stage is very dangerous and could bring the party down,” he emphasized.
Hon. Terlabi also commended the President of the Republic, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, for his trust in the Krobo Bloc, and assured the gathering that the President’s appointees from the area are fully focused on supporting his vision and bringing development to their respective constituencies. He described their appointment as a reward for the bloc’s unwavering loyalty to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Also speaking at the event, Dr. Winfred Korletey Baah, Acting Registrar of the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HEFRA), echoed Hon. Terlabi’s sentiments, stating that unity and peaceful coexistence are the foundation for strengthening the NDC in Lower Manya Krobo.
In his remarks, Hon. John Atteh Matey assured party members of his commitment to collaborate with all appointees from the Krobo area and beyond to drive positive development in the municipality.
