The students of Ayetepa D/A Basic ‘B’ JHS in the Ningo Prampram District in the Greater Accra Region were back to school in their numbers on the first day of reopening of Schools in Ghana after the long break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Their faces were filled with smiles for seeing their teachers and friends whom they have seen for almost a year due to the world crises.
A visit by krobolandonline.com to the school, all the students were wearing their nose masks with hand sanitizers on their various desks as they were decently seated preparing for the official commencement of academic work.
The headteacher of the School, Mr. Nathaniel Dassinor Lomotey assured that his leadership will make sure both Students and teachers adhere strictly to the laid down public health protocols during school hours as he shows several hand washing basins made available at different points in the school.
Mr. Dassinor used the opportunity to called on parents to play active role in safeguarding their children in this pandemic period since the Corona virus pandemic has already have massive effect on the academic calendar and it will not be a good news for schools to further close down in the few days ahead.
