The Manya Krobo Covid-19 Emergency Fund has donated PPEs and Fuel coupons among others to the security agencies in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality and Upper Manya krobo District in two separate short ceremonies.

The first presentation which took place in the early hours of the day came off at the forecourt of Akuse Local Prison whiles the second presentation took place at the forecourt of Odumase District Police Command.

Nene Kwesi Detse I, Development Chief of the Manya Krobo Traditional area who jointly Chair the Fund Committee and Mr. Godfried Caeser, a member of the Committee led the committee members from the Emergency fund to donate to the security agancies to support their efforts in the fight against the Corona virus crisis.

The Odumase District Police Command, Akuse District Police Command and Asesewa District Police Command all in the Manya Krobo Traditional area received 10 boxes of Surgical masks, GHC 1000.00 fuel coupons, 3 boxes of alcohol based hand sanitizers and 5 packs of Bottled Water each.

Akuse Local Prison received 210 reusable nose masks, 2 gallons of hand sanitizers, 2 gallons of Liquid soap, 8 boxes of Surgical masks, 5 packs of Bottled Water and a non-contact Thermometer gun.

The Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Immigration Command also received GHC 500.00 fuel coupons, hand sanitizers, nose masks and packs of Water.

The other security agancies that benefited from the donation from the Manya Krobo Covid-19 Emergency Fund are the BNI operatives from both Lower Manya Krobo and Upper Manya krobo as they both received GHC 500.00 each with hand sanitizers, nose masks and some packs of water.

Nene Kwesi Detse I commends the efforts of the security agancies in the area for theirs selfless sacrifice made in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic since the unfortunate detection of the first case in the Krobo Land area.

Nene Detse used the opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of the hard working members of the Manya Krobo Covid-19 Emergency Fund committee for the sacrifices they have made to mobilize resources to support the people in this crisis times.

Supt. John Yeboah, Asesewa District Police Commander applause the efforts of the Emergency fund committee for coming to the aid of the security agancies in the area at this times which will motivate their officers to give their all in the Corona virus fight in the area.

He continued to assure that the donated items among the other supports with be put into good use.
