Management and staff of Akro Technical SHS in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality in the early hours of Friday, 10th September, 2021 Re-dedicates their newly refurbished 80 Seater Capacity School Library.
Mr. Charles Ossom Baah, headmaster of the School said after assuming office as the headmaster in January this year, he realized the state of the School’s Library and the Staff Common Room does not befit the status of a Senior High school.
He explained that, in a modern education institution like a Senior high School, the Library is like the oxygen source for both the teachers and the learners since it gives them ready source for research so that informed his decision to renovate the Library into a modern place.
Mr. Charles Ossom Baah further took the opportunity to acknowledge the strong support from the board of directors of the School for the support through the numerous contributions from the Akro Foundation which has led to the successful completion of the targeted phase one of the Library Improvement project.
He concluded by calling on former Students, Stakeholders, Opinion Leaders, Non-governmental organisation and the general public among others to come to the aid of Akro Technical SHS which is under resource for both the Management and staff to be able to deliver on their mandate.
