The Municipal Chief Executive for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, commended GrowthAid Ghana for their understanding support in providing portable water to some areas and institutions in his municipality.
The Hon. MCE further assured the team from GrowthAid Ghana of the maximum commitment and support from the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly under his leadership to enable them to smoothly work in the area.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh used the opportunity to also express their heartiest appreciation to the NGO for the nine new mechanism boreholes with overhead poly tanks and the renovation of 10 old mechanism borehole projects their outfit has done for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
A delegation from the non-governmental organization, GrowthAid Ghana, led by their project manager, Emmanuel Kwame Ackah, and Sylvia Moncar Vanderpuye, officially paid a courtesy call on the Hon. MCE at his office on Thursday, January 13, 2023, to discuss their projected programs and initiatives for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Ackah, project manager from the NGO, assured the Hon. MCE and his other management members in the meeting of their commitment to complete all the other ongoing mechanized borehole projects, which are all currently at different stages of completion and are expected to be completed by the end of February.
He concluded by saying that their NGO has enjoyed a very friendly and cooperative working relationship in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, which has informed their decision to do more in terms of providing more mechanized borehole water facilities to help improve the provision of portable water for the good people of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality this calendar year.
Mr. Selorm Kwame Tibu, Coordinating Director for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly, assured the NGO in the meeting that the cordial working relationship between the NGO and the Municipal Assembly is dearly valued by the entire management and staff of the Municipal Assembly and that their offices are always open to give them the support they need at all times.
