Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, took the keys of the newly completed 12-unit classroom with ancillary facilities at Krobo Girls Presbyterian SHS after completion from the contractor, Boasillion Company Limited, through the project consultant, Taracon Limited.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh onwardly handed over the newly completed project to the school for use through the Municipal Education Director, Mr. Samuel Kwesi Tettey, and the director also handed over the keys of the building to Mrs. Bernice Noel Mensah-Akutteh, Headmistress of Krobo Girls Presbyterian SHS, for use.

Mrs. Bernice Noel Mensah-Akutteh, in her brief address on behalf of the board of governors of the school, the PTA, management, staff, and the student community, expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for the outstanding infrastructure transformation of this great school.

She assured that her able leadership will make sure the several infrastructure projects received will go a long way toward influencing the academic performance of the school in positive ways.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, addressing the gathering, stated that the current government, under the able leadership of H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has done tremendously well in the education sector of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, transforming the hopeless infrastructure situation they inherited into a hopeful situation now.

He continued to say that in the past 6 years of the current administration, Girls Presbyterian SHS has received a 12-unit dormitory block, a modern overlarge capacity dining hall with kitchen, a 7-unit home economics block with ancillary facilities, the newly handed over 12-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities, and the on-going 12-unit dormitory block facility, which also comes with ancillary facilities, among other projects.

Makrosec has also received an 18-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities and a WC toilet facility to ease the pressure on the existing facilities.

Akro Technical SHS also received a 12-unit classroom with ancillary facilities and a biogas processing plant, which is currently supplying the school with their gas demand, among others.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, for these projects and programs, the good people of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality have benefited and show a good fate that when given the parliamentary node to lead the area, Lower Manya Krobo Constituency will be transformed into the best interest of the people.

Mr. Samuel Kwesi Tettey, Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Education Director, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Management of the Municipal Education Directorate, expressed their heartiest appreciation to the President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and his representative in the area, Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, for the massive transformation brought to the education sector in the area, as he appeals to them to continue to tackle the other issues in the education sector in the municipality.
