Father Emmanuel Azure(SVD) was on Sunday March 20, 2021 inducted as the New Parish Priest of the St. Theresa’s Catholic Church at Frankadua in the Asuogyaman District in the Ho Diocese of the Roman Catholic in a colourful Mass celebration.
Subsequently, Fr. Petrus Pati B. Antonius was also Inducted as the assistant Parish Priest of the Church community in Frankadua.
The induction ceremony was performed on behalf of Bishop Emmanuel Kofi Fianu (SVD), Bishop of the Ho Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church by Father Benjamin Gawu.
Fr. Emmanuel Azure(SVD) in his Inaugural speech assured the Church Community that with God on their side, the St. Theresa’s Catholic Parish, Frankedua being one of the oldest Parishes in the Ho Diocese will continue to grow stronger and wins more souls for Christ Jesus.
He continue to say that their Apostolic Mission as Religious leaders will only be successful if and only if the entire congregation rely behind them as he pledge his maximum commitment to serve them as he has served at all his previous stations.
He used the opportunity to expressed his heartiest appreciation to the Bishop of the Ho Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church and his immediate family and friends for their support throughout his years of Service in the Priesthood.
Hon. Thomas Ampem Nyarko, Member of Parliament for the Asuogyaman Constituency was the Special guest of honor at Ceremony as he pledged his maximum support to the Parish under the watch of the new Parish Priests as he made a cash donation to help them settle down comfortably at their new station in his Constituency.
The Church community which is predominantly Ewe Community welcomed both the Parish Priest and his assistant with Ewe Hospitality by giving Traditional gifts of appreciation and good Ewe Music to Welcome them home.
