Our team from Krobolandonline.com on a community tour observed several leadership approaches that look positive in the fight against the deadly Corona virus crisis.
At the entry point of the Akosombo Township which is popularly called the Dam City by the natives, it is mandatory for all to go through some protocol checks before given entry pass by the team of health workers and security officers at the entry points.

All are expected to either wash their hands with soap under running water or use hand sanitizer before the health workers at the various checkpoints takes your temperature which is one of the major signs shown when one contract the virus.

Without face Mask, the health workers together with the police will not allowed you to enter Akosombo township which seens to be the only city with this strict enforcement of the Presidential directive on the compulsory wearing of Nose masks in the fight against the Corona virus pandemic.

Not withstanding, there are other several checks points mounted within the City to check all the laid down public health protocols as natives and visitors goes about with their daily activities.
The security checkpoints has led to identification of some positive cases which the results proved to be positive.

These measures among others from information gathered have been put in place by the Leadership of VRA, Asuogyaman District Assembly and the Asuogyaman District health Directorate since March, 2020 when Ghana recorded her first COVID-19 case and has been sustained upto date which is commendable.
