40 young hairdressing and Tailoring apprentices at Nkrakan in the Yilo Krobo Constituency received empowerment support from Mr. Albert Tetteh Nyakotey, NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the Yilo Krobo Constituency.
The initiative dubbed ATN Skills Development Program was officially outdoor at Nkrakan on Sunday 23rd August, 2020 as part of activities of the birthday celebration of Mr. Albert Tetteh Nyakotey at the market square as the NDC fraternity in the region and Constituency joined the native to celebrate the new age of their Parliamentary Candidate.
The initiative as part of the information gathered during the outdooring program has about 11 modules which is aim at supporting the youth under various artisan apprenticeship fields across the Yilo Krobo Constituency.
20 hairdressing apprentices received hair dryers with washing basins whilst 20 Tailoring apprentices received sawing machines.
Mr. Nyakotey in his address assured the good people of Yilo Krobo Constituency that as a highly connected, educated person and a dedicated native of the Yilo Krobo area, he is committed to empowered the youth through several employable initiatives such as this.
He continued to say that when given the Mattel of leadership as their representative at Parliament during the up coming elections, he will make sure the vibrant youth of the area gets more employable skills through several skills training initiatives and educational initiatives since the well empowered youth is the only option to bring hope to the area in the near future.
He further assured that as H. E. John Dramani Mahama is ready to create employment for over 100,000 Ghanaian when elected in December, he is also ready to create over 1,000 jobs for the good people of the Yilo Krobo Constituency when elected as their Parliamentary member in the December 2020 general election.
Mr. Nyakotey used the opportunity to appeal to the gathering to go all out to participate in the Voter exhibition process which will be coming on soon to enable them have the power to massively Vote for H. E. John Dramani Mahama and himself during the up coming December 2020 General elections.
Mr. Narh Agbo, Yilo Krobo Constituency Chairman of the NDC appeals to the gathering to massively Vote for Mr. Albert Tetteh Nyakotey who has shown great leadership after his election as the Parliamentary Candidate for the Yilo Krobo Constituency and also vote for H. E. John Dramani Mahama in the December 2020 general election for development.
He continued to challenge the NPP in the Yilo Krobo Constituency to come out clearly and showcase what they have done for the good people of Nkrakan as well as greater part of the Yilo Krobo Constituency in terms of Infrastructure and other initiatives.
