Over 75 Foreign Students from the United States of America on an Exchange Program at the Ensign Global College, Kpong on Thursday 9th June 2022 paid a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty, Nene Sakite II, Konor of Manya Krobo Traditional area who doubled as the President of the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs.
The delegation made up of the Students and some lecturers at the College were led by Professor Stephen Alda, President of Ensign Global College and his Wife.
Nene Sakite II and his elders organised a befitting durbar in honor of their guests as they were given a very warm welcome.
Nene Sakite II addressing the gathering assured them of the hospitality of the good people from the Krobo Land area and Ghana at large.
His Royal Majesty Nene Sakite II used the opportunity to interact with the Students as well as their Lecturers as he gave them the detailed history and culture of the good people of the Manya Krobo Traditional area.
Nene Sakite II, Konor of Manya Krobo Traditional area in conclusion entreat the Management of the Health University, Ensign Global College, Kpong to share the findings of their Public health Students as well as the findings of the visiting foreign students who are mostly Public health students with the Traditional Leadership as well as the Administrative Leaders in the area since it will good a long way to help in taking relevant decisions in the best interest of their people.
Professor Stephen Alda, President of Ensign Global College on his own behalf and on behalf of the entire visiting delegation expressed their heartiest appreciation to his Royal Majesty and his elders for hosting them.
He continue to use the opportunity to expressed his gratitude to the Overlord and the good people of the Krobo Land area most the natives of Kpong who have been great hosts to them over the years.
He assured Nene Sakite II of their continuous commitment to support the Manya Krobo Traditional area in their best capacities as they have been doing ever since they settled down in the Krobo Land area with their Campus at Kpong.
