The Nuaso Local Council of Churches in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality organized a befitting send-off for their old executives and an induction service for their newly elected leaders on December 25, 2022.
The Rev. Abraham Djaba Okai, Dangme-Tongu Presbytery Chairperson, officiated the send-off and induction processes during the ceremony.
Outgoing Chairman of the Nuaso Local Council of Churches, Bishop Samuel Teye Owusu, wished the new leadership well in all their endeavors.
Rev. Dr. Samuel Nartey, the newly elected chairperson of the Nuaso Local Council of Churches, assured in his inaugural speech of committed and dedicated leadership during his tenure to help see the council grow from strength to strength.
The newly elected leaders of the Nuaso Local Council of Churches are: Rev. Dr. Samuel Nartey (Chairman), Rev. Bless Abia Narh (Vice Chairman), Rev. Gabriel Yaw-Teye (Secretary), Rev. Alex Finney (Vice Secretary), Rev. Comfort H. Ayitey (Treasure), Rev. Elvis Tetteh (Financial Secretary), Rev. Jeremiah Ofori Atta (Organiser), Rev. Stephen M. Tawiah(Vice Organiser), Apostle John T. Asare (P.R.O.) and Presbyter Anthony (Porter).
Dr. Nene Narh terkpertey, Sipim of Manya Aklomuase, who chairs the program, congratulated the newly elected leadership of the Nuaso Council on their successful induction process after their election.
He advised them to serve their people rather than play the role of boss, since that’s the best way to grow the local council of the church in Nuaso.
He concluded by assuring them of his maximum support at all times to help make their work easy.
Prophet Dr. Isaiah Larweh, Chairman of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Council of Churches, was among the special guests present at the send-off and induction of the local leadership of the Nuaso Council of Churches.
