A delegation from the Eastern Regional Co-ordinating Council (ERCC), led by Hajia Abiba, Regional Director of Agriculture, visited the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly on Monday, February 18, 2025, as part of their mandated duties outlined in Sections 188 and 189 of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936).

This monitoring exercise aligns with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 1.5 (ii) and 2.5 of the 2024 Local Government Service Performance Contract, signed between the Honourable Regional Minister and the Chief Director of the ERCC.

Under these indicators, the Regional Co-ordinating Council is responsible for evaluating the functionality of sub-structures and conducting bi-annual assessments of Performance Contracts and Performance Appraisals across Municipal and District Assemblies in the region.

During the visit, the ERCC team commended the Management and staff of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly for their diligence and dedication in fulfilling their responsibilities.

They encouraged the assembly to continue fostering teamwork and collaboration, emphasizing that such efforts will contribute to sustainable development for the people they serve and for Mother Ghana as a whole.
