The Yilo Krobo Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has received support from two of its prominent stakeholders ahead of the major campaign season for the December 2020 general elections.
Mr. Richard Twum Barimah Koranteng, former Yilo Krobo Constituency Chairman of the NPP and Mr. Desmond Nartey, a member of the Eastern Regional Patrons of the NPP donated three motor bikes and four sets of community information systems to the Party.
Mr. Desmond Nartey in his brief speech at the handing over ceremony hinted that the partnership between himself, Mr. Twum Barimah and other Senior members of the Party in the Constituency are ready to give the Constituency the needed support to help them in their quest to win the Yilo Krobo Constituency Parliamentary seat as well as increase votes in the area for the President.
Mr. Twum Barimah Koranteng said despite pressure that will coming from his regional desk as the 2nd Vice Chairman of the NPP in the Eastern Region, he is fully committed to serve actively in the Constituency campaign team at any capacity they will need his services.
He assured that all cost that will be involved in fixing all the Community Information systems which each set has 6 horn speakers will be taken care of by them.
He further inform the gathering that himself and Mr. Desmond Nartey are putting resources together to support the Constituency with a pick up to aid movement during the up coming campaign and election season.
Hon. Ebenezer Tetteh Kupualor, MCE for Yilo Krobo Municipality on behalf of the NPP fraternity in the Yilo Krobo Constituency expressed their heart felt appreciation to their fraternity members for this donations which is a great boost to their campaign plans.
Hon. Kupualor promised that the party leadership in the Constituency will see to it that the donation are put into good use for them to achieve victory in the up coming elections.
In exclusive Interview with Dr. Gabriel Odah Apotey, Yilo Krobo Constituency Chairman of the NPP, he said the support which came as a surprise is a unique gesture which will serve as a great motivation to the committed Constituency campaign team to work extra hard to deliver that victory they needed in both the Parliamentary and Presidential elections coming December 2020.
The short ceremony was witnessed by some members of the Constituency executives and other well meaning members of the NPP in the Yilo Krobo Constituency.
