There was a near fatal accident at Manaam Junction this afternoon as a private car with registration Number GN 934-19 veered off it lane from the Kpong to Odumase highway into the gutters.
The accident according to eyewitness ocoured after driver applied a brake in an attempt to avoid a head-on collision with an incoming Hyundai mini bus.
The eye witness report indicates that the private car heading towards the Odumase side of the road was running at a top speed which force the driver to veered into the gutter when he suddenly spots the incoming vehicle.
No major injuries were recorded.
All road users are hereby cordially adviced to drive with extra caution to save lives and properties due to the continuous down pour in the area.
