The Management and staff of St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya has on Thursday bid farewell to two of the facility’s long serving staff in an emotional Send-off ceremony.
Mr. Osei Owusu Bempah, Administrator of the hospital and Mr. Barimah Alhassan, head of finance both served the hospital for 7 and 20 years respectively.
Mr. Osei Owusu Bempah in his speech expressed his heart felt appreciation to the management, staff and all past colleagues of the hospital for supporting him despite his strict leadership which sometimes looks frustrating in his quest to bring the hospital to this level.
He advised them to not lose focus on the current progress rate of the facility as he appeals to the staff to support the current management to be able to take the facility to the next higher level since he will forever see St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya as his home.
For his part, Mr.Barimah Alhassan, head of finance said despite going to the bigger Catholic hospital in Nkawkaw which is a promotion to him, he could wish he stays at St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya but as duty calls, he is ready to go and use the vast experience gathered to go help grow the hospital.
Rev. Sr. Margaret Mary Woedi who was the head of Pharmacy at the Hospital will officially be acting as the Administrator and Mrs. Emelia Maud Kutor will fill in the position as the head of Accounts.
Dr. Stephen Kusi, Medical Director of the hospital on behalf of Management and staff expressed their appreciation to the outgoing Management members and other staff of the hospital who will be moving on due to transfers and posting to continue with their services at different facilities as he wished them well in their endeavors.
