His Presence University of Theology at Kasoa in collaboration with the Western Seminary, USA has conferred two honorary Doctorate Degree Awards on Nene Narh Tekpertey II, Sipim of Manya Aklomuase in the Manya Krobo Traditional Area in the Eastern Region with two Honourary Doctorate Awards.
The Western Seminary is accredited to award master’s and doctorate degrees by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and is an accredited member of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS).
The popular business mogul, Nene Narh Tekpertey II, received the Honourary Degrees of Doctor of Business Administration and Doctor of Humanities at a special congregation ceremony held at the Impact Bible Church in Somanya last Saturday.
Reading the bestowal citation, His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Barkers Arthur (Ph.D.) said the University’s decision for the reward of the two awards was driven by the innovative ideas for doing business and his exemplary selfless service.
The citation for the Doctorate in Business Administration read “For his innovative ideas for doing business and being successful in the implementation of all ventured business plans and being a source of support to most of the youth in his district and area, giving them employment,”.
The Doctor of Humanities, also read “for his over a decade and a half exemplary selfless service to the town and townsfolk of Manya Aklomuase Lomodje – Agomanya and also being a mediator for most of the traditional rulers in the Manya Krobo Local Government Area and his high dedication to the development of his community, especially the youth.”
Speaking in an interview with Nene Narh Tekpertey II expressed gratitude to His Presence University of Theology and the Western Seminary, USA for the recognition.
He believed the recognition would serve as motivation for him to do more in his community and also motivate the young ones and other Krobo citizens who are also in the position to support their communities.
