Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality embarked on a Covid-19 sensitization tour and donation of some PPEs to driver Unions and Religious groups in his Municipality.
The Hon. MCE donated boxes of hand sanitizers and reusable nose masks to the driver Unions at the Odumase Lorry Station and the Agormanya Main Taxi Station.
He also donated boxes of hand sanitizers and nose masks to the Christian Mothers Association of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church at their meeting grounds.
The Hon. MCE on his separate addresses appeals to all the groups he engaged to keep their guard in the fight against the deadly coronavirus pandemic since the health crisis which has affected our daily lifestyles and livelihoods is far from over.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh pledge his commitment to continue leading the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in his Municipality but made it clear that he can’t do it alone.
He further appeals to the leadership of the groups he engaged during his tour on Tuesday 23rd February, 2021 to appeal to their families and friends to adhere strictly to the laid down public health protocols for the general good of the entire community.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh cautioned the citizens that in the best interest of cubing the spread of the Corona virus pandemic, Only Family Funerals are allowed in these challenging times and anyone who does something contrary is going against the laws and can be arrested by the state security agancies.

The G. P. R. T. U Chairman used the opportunity to appeal to the high office of the President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to reappoint Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh as the Municipal Chief executive for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality to continue his great leadership and transformation agenda.
