Confirming the incident to the media, the Amansie South NADMO coordinator Edward Oduro Nsiah said he received a distress call around 12am Sunday about the fire and he immediately called the fire service for intervention.
Unfortunately this invention couldn’t arrive early which led to the tragic death of a pregnant woman (Esther Kwabina), her husband (Kofi Owusu), and their two children aged 9 and 5 years. The bodies have been deposited at St Martin’s hospital at Agroyesum.
Officials of the Ghana National Fire Service in the area has commenced with investigation into the sad incident.
