On the evening of Wednesday, March 5, 2025, parishioners of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Community in Agormanya gathered for the Holy Ash Wednesday Mass to mark the beginning of the Lenten season. During the service, worshippers received the sign of the cross in ash, symbolizing repentance and renewal. While some parishioners attended the morning mass to receive their ashes, others participated in the evening service to begin the 40-day period of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving in preparation for Easter.

Presiding over the mass, Rev. Fr. Moses Kofi Huadji, the Parish Priest, urged the congregation to observe the Lenten season with devotion and sincerity. He emphasized the need for spiritual discipline, encouraging parishioners to approach the period with seriousness and commitment to strengthen their faith and relationship with God.

The Ash Wednesday observance set the tone for a meaningful and reflective Lent, guiding the parishioners toward spiritual renewal and growth.
