The Manya Krobo Rural Bank Limited has on Friday 29th May, 2020 donated PPEs worth over GHC 35,000.00 to the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Health Directorate.

The items are to be shared among the 3 major hospitals in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality namely Atua Government Hospital, St. Martin de Porres Hospital – Agormanya and Akuse Government Hospital.
The items includes boxes of Surgical gloves, boxes of Liquid soap, Gallons of alcohol based hand sanitizers, tissue papers among others.

Mr. Edward Ohipeni, CEO of the Bank and Hon. Michael Teye Nyaunu, Member of the Board of Directors of the back led the delegation of Management members and staff of the bank to make the presentation in a short ceremony at the forecourt of the Municipal Health Directorate at Atua.
Hon. Michael Teye Nyaunu in his brief speech before he handed over the items to the leadership of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Health Directorate commends the efforts of the entire team of health professionals and other Frontline workers in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal for fighting fearlessly against the Corona virus when it unfortunately gets close to our doors.

He concluded by saying history will never forget their brave sacrifices made to save lives during this pandemic crisis period in the area.

Selasi Etsra, head of the Disease Control Unit at the health directorate on behalf of the Directorate expressed their heart felt appreciation to the Manya Krobo Rural Bank Limited for coming to their aid in this trying times when their stores are virtually empty since most of the items they use on daily basis are disposables and with this donation made to them, it will go a head to motivate the team to continue to give their all in the fight against the Corona virus crisis in the area to curb the spread.
Mr. Edward Ohipeni, CEO of the Manya Krobo Rural Bank Limited in an exclusive interview with www.krobolandonline.com after the presentation assured the Frontline health workers in the fight against the Corona virus crisis of continuous support from the Bank which is much concerned about the health of the people in their catchment areas and beyond which led to several donations they have made to several CHPS compounds in the Krobo Land area in the past.

He concluded by advising the general public to adhere strictly to the laid down public health protocols and the compulsory use of face masks to help curb the spread of the Corona virus.
