Lower Manya Krobo Municipality is set to have 3 modern institutional 10 seater WC toilet with a solar powered borehole facilities under the 1 Million 1 Constituency initiative.
The consulting firm in charge of the projects, Lomenf Company Limited after a comprehensive monitoring tour to the sites at Makrosec, Nuaso Presby and Manya Kpongunor Presby JHS confirmed that the only works left is the connection of the solar powered borehole which the contractor assured to connect within the coming days.
Mr. Eben, Senior technical officer from the consulting firm indicates that they are committed to see all the 3 sanitary facilities operationalised ahead of the partial reopening of the institution since that will help in improving the adherence to the public health protocols during this Coronavirus crisis.
The Lower Manya Krobo Municipality under the 1 Million 1 Constituency initiative benefited mechanism borehole with overhead Poly Tanks water projects at Oborpah East, Wawase and Yonguase which all are currently operationalised.
Under the Same initiative, the Municipality benefited a modern market sheds at Agormanya main market which is currently completed awaiting commissioning and the ongoing Lassi Market project which is aim at improving the place of Local trades in the Municipality.
