The Lower Manya Krobo Municipality marked the Census night on Sunday 27th June, 2021 as Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for the Municipality entreated the people of the Municipality to get counted within the Census night and July 11th which will be the last day of enumeration.
The Municipal Chief executive assured the good people in the Municipality that all information that will be provided to the the Census officers who are professionally under oaths is safe and it will be used for only planning and development purposes.
Mr. Selorm Kwame Tibu, the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Coordinating Director who doubled as the Chairman of the Municipal Census community in his address affirmed the readiness of the Municipal Census community to deliver on their mandate.
Mr. Selorm further in his address comfirmed to the gathering of the preparedness of the Municipal Census Community to deliver on their expected mandate as they’re ready to work day and night to achieve the needed results.
Religious leadership, Traditional leadership and the general public were fairly represented at the official launch of the Census night in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality as Most of the agencies, associations as well as individuals had the opportunity to ask relevant questions.
The program runs late into the night as the security agancies in the Municipality were represented massive.
