Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, who doubled as the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency today, Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, has presented electronic equipment worth GHC 130,000.00 in support of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Teachers Prize Awards Day 2024 celebration.
This is to redeem his pledge to support the award scheme, as he assured them of more surprises in the coming days to make that special day of the teaching fraternity to which he is proud to belong very memorable.
The items presented to the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Education Directorate under the able leadership of Mr. Samuel Kwesi Tettey are 14 pieces of 32″ LCD TV, 18 pieces of tabletop fridges, and 7 pieces of gas cookers to be used as prizes, which has come as a great relief to the programme put together to celebrate teachers.
Mr. Samuel Kwesi Tettey, Director of Education in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Hon. MCE and H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, for giving their maximum support to the education sector in the municipality and this all-important boost to Teachers Prize Awards Day 2024.
Mrs. Agnes Nanor, headmistress of Makrosec, who is a member of the Teachers Prize Awards Day 2024 planning committee, assured Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh and his entourage from the NPP fraternity in the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency that this resource received will be put to good use in the best interest of having a successful award ceremony.
