The NPP fraternity in the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency, led by Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for the area, who doubled as the parliamentary candidate in the early hours of Friday, March 29th, 2024, donated bags of rice and sugar to the Muslim community in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
30 bags of rice and 30 bags of sugar were presented to the entire leadership of the Muslim community in the municipality at the forecourt of Agormanya Central Mosque to aid their Ramadan fasting period.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh appeals to the Muslim community to pray for Mother Ghana during this holy month of Ramadan for peace and stability, which are the key factors that drive development.
The Hon. MCE made it clear in his brief speech that the leadership of the NPP over the past 7 years has served the good people of the Krobo Land area very well with a lot of landmark developmental projects, and for that reason, the Muslim community must support both himself and their presidential candidate, H. E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for them to continue to do more for them.
The Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Chief Imam, Yunusa Issah, in his remarks, applauded Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh for serving the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency in special ways and for his unique relationship with the Muslim community, which will be greatly rewarded during the upcoming general elections.
On his own behalf and on behalf of the entire Muslim community in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, he expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the NPP government and the Constituency Leadership for remembering them in their holy month of Ramadan and assured them that these good deeds will attract heavenly blessings upon their individual lives and their NPP fraternity in general.
