Akro Technical SHS in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality is expected to have a 12-Units 3-Storey classroom Block with WC Toilet facility and other ancillary facilities completed within the next one month to improve the infrastructure situation at the School.
Mr. Wisdom Kpolu, site engineer of Upgrade Development Limited, the construction firm working on the project disclosed this during a site meeting held on Wednesday 31st March, 2021.
He back this timeline with detailed work plan and assured the stakeholders present of their commitment to complete the project soon.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality entreated the construction firm to put in the the necessary efforts to finish the project within the scheduled time.
He continued to say that these projects are intended by Government to help improve the infrastructure standings of the Schools to accommodate the massive intake of students under the free SHS policy of the ruling NPP government.
Mr. Charles Ossom Baah, headmaster of Akro Technical SHS appeals to the construction company to FastTrack the project since it will be of great relief to the existing infrastructure situation at the School.
