A retired ASP. whose name has given as Peter Tawiah Kwadjo was found dead in his farm at Huantsi, a suburb of Asitey in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region.
Information given by a family member indicates that the wife of the late retired ASP. alerted the family around 6:00pm on Thursday 21st October, 2021 after the husband failed to return to the house after his usual returning times.
The family immediately informed the leadership of the community and immediately a search of Community members and Police officers from the Odumase-krobo District Police Command were deployed to the farm where they found him dead.
The dead body has been retrieved and deposited at the Mortuary of Atua Government Hospital after doctors of the Hospital has comfirmed him dead long hours ago.
The entire Asitey Community is in shock as they receive the news of the passing on of a very energetic retired Police Officer.
Police officers from the Odumase-krobo District Police Command has commenced with investigation into the sad incident.
