On February 14, 2023, the Venus School Complex, a private school based at Saisi in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, observed a float on some of the principal streets in the area to create awareness on sanitation and the great academic performance of the school over the years.
The school, which was started in September 2009, had its first BECE in 2019 and placed 3rd out of 80 schools, both public and private, in the municipality that sat for the exams that year.
In 2021, Venus School Complex was among the only 13 schools in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality that had 100% in the BECE and placed 7th in the municipal ranking of the best performing schools in the BECE.
In the 2022 BECE results that were recently released, the Venus School Complex again attained 100%, as they’re waiting for the municipal ranking.
In an interview with the director of the school, Madam Naomi Annor, she said the aim of the school is to help train the next generation with good discipline and good education so that they can lead this nation in the near future.
She continued to say that with the Venus School Complex, you’re assured of 100% in BECE, placement of your wards in a grade “A” SHS, aggregate “6-15,” 5 years of free education for children from less privileged families, very affordable fees, and excellent tuition, among others.
