The Central Regional Minister, Hon. Mrs Justina Marigold Assan was assisted by the Management of the Cape Coast Technical University and Mr. Fred Appiah, a representative of Energy Commission, Ghana to unveil the first ever Solar Tricycle (Pragya) in Ghana.
The Solar Tricycle was designed and produced by the Engineering Design & Innovation Centre of CCTU with support from the Energy Commission of Ghana.
In his presentation yesterday, Dr. Kwame Anane-Fenin, Director of the Centre revealed that the Solar Tricycle doesn’t only run without an engine but it is also noiseless, has a WiFi and other amazing features.
In her brief remarks, Hon. Justina M. Assan expressed her delight to have had this innovation emerging out of her Region. She pledged her full support to the Management of the University.
