The Manya Krobo Covid-19 Emergency Fund has on tuesday donated a washing machine to Atua Government Hospital Covid-19 Isolation center.
The issue which was handled as a matter of urgency after the center managers made a special appeal regarding the need to have a separate washing machine for the Isolation center.
The delegation from the emergency fund led by Manye Angmorkuor Yoko I, Development Queen Mother of the Manya Krobo Traditional area upon making the presentation used the occasion to applaud the entire team Managing the only Isolation center in the area for the selfless sacrifices they are making to save lives.
She continued to assured the management of the Atua Government Hospital of continuous support from the Manya Krobo Covid-19 Emergency Fund as the team keeps working tirelessly to mobilize support to the necessary agancies and institutions in the Manya Krobo Traditional area.
Dr. Azuure, Clinical Care coordinator of the Atua Government Hospital who led the team to receive the donation expressed their heart felt appreciation to the Emergency fund management for the donation which he called a big surprise because during the last donation by the fund to the Isolation center, they made the appeal which was handled with urgency beyond their expectations.
Dr. Azuure assured the donors of the facility’s continuous commitment to put all received donations into the right use. He used the opportunity to appeal to the general public to support the Isolation center since most of the items their use on daily basis are disposables.
Mr. Godfried Caeser and Mrs. Rose Lawer were other members of the Emergency fund committee that were present at the presentation of the washing machine to the hospital.
