Management, Staff and stakeholders of Akuse Methodist Technical SHS in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality on Friday 16th September, 2022 feast with the final year students of the school who are in their last few days of stay in the School.
The batch who were admitted in 2019 into the Senior High Schools in the country are currently left with some few WASSCE papers to graduate from the SHS.
As part of initiatives of the current headmaster of Akuse Methodist Technical SHS, Mr. John Selby since his arrival has initiated a unique dinner with the final year students before they finally depart the school after their final exams.
Mr. John Selby addressing the final year students during the special dinner organised in their honor entreated them to go out there and carry themselves with very high moral standards since they will forever be ambassadors of the great AMEST.
He continued to charge them to be unique among their peers which is one of the best ways to keep the reputation of AMEST high.
Mr. John Selby concluded his speech by making it clear to the outgoing Students that so far as they have been within the walls of Akuse Methodist Technical SHS for the 3 years of their SHS education, the name of the School will forever be part of their history as well as success stories so as well they must also forever remember the School’s needs when they have the means to support to up lift the standards of AMEST.
A delegation of PTA executives of the School led by the Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa fulfilled their pledged made to members of the School’s athletic team by making cash donations to all the athletes who won Gold and Silver during the immediate past inter-Schools athletic competition and also presented an undisclosed amount of money to the Sports department of the School to motivate them to win more honors for the great AMEST.
Alhaji Abubakar Bawa in his brief speech assured the Management, Staff and students of Akuse Methodist Technical SHS of their continuous commitment to support the school in all their endeavors to achieve greatness to make them proud.
The leadership of the Student body on their own behalf and on behalf of the entire student community expressed their heartiest appreciation to the headmaster of the School, Mr. John Selby as well as the entire management, staff and stakeholders of Akuse Methodist Technical SHS for giving them a very friendly and accommodating environment which gave them the best of SHS Education in Ghana as they pledged to be great Ambassadors of great AMEST as they go out there after school.
