Work is progressing steadily on the 188 Lockable Market stores Project at the Agormanya main Market.

The MCE, Hon Simon Kweku Tetteh, expressed his satisfaction at the progress of work during a site meeting organized by the Lower Manya Krobo Assembly and the project consultant on Tuesday 18th January, 2022.

The Hon. MCE applauded the constructors but also entreated them to try and complete the project within the coming months.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh speaking at the meeting used the opportunity to expressed his heartiest appreciation to all the stakeholders gathered for their active participation in the monitoring of the project which has been very helpful.

The MCE in his statement reassure the construction companies of the continues support from the Municipal Assembly and the Mother Ministry which is the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development to see the project completed soon.

The representatives from the Construction Companies, WIN-Meg Ventures Ltd and Hawkrad Construction Ltd assured the meeting through their comprehensive work plan to complete the soon.

The meeting which includes a site monitoring visit had all the relevant stakeholders invited.

Mr. Selorm Tibu, Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Coordinating Director who led his team of technical officers and administrative officers from the Municipal Assembly also suggested to the constructors that in the best interest of completing this project for the benefit of the people if they are facing any challenges which may cause delays, they must not hesitate to call on them at the Municipal Assembly for prompt Assistance.

CSOs in the Municipal were duly represented by Youth and Women’s Empowerment (YOWE).

All other projects under the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Program ongoing in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality such as the Modern Multipurpose Business Advisory Centre Project at the Municipal Assembly and the Nuaso Newtown town roads are all progressing steadily.
