DO II Ebenezer K. Djabatey, Yilo Krobo Municipal Fire Service Commander has entreat the general public to save emergency service numbers on their phones for easy access during Fire and other emergencies for prompt assistance.
He made this statement during a working visit by the team from www.krobolandonline.com to the Somanya Fire Station on Tuesday 9th March, 2021.
Highlighting on the sad incident that happened at Asitey Curve on Monday 8th March where a tipper Truck carrying limestone crashed into the Asitey Curve where both the driver and his mates were trapped for barely an hour before someone was able to reach him on his private number.
He said it took the professional team of Fire officers who arrived at the Scene, less than 10 minutes, they were able to rescue the victims to the nearest hospital where they are all currently stable and receiving treatment.
DO II Ebenezer K. Djabatey used the opportunity to appeals to the general public and corporate institutions to support the Somanya Fire Station since they can be more effective with the public support.
