On Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, the NPP fraternity in the Yilo Krobo Constituency, led by Alhaji Teye Abubakar, Chairman, and Mr. Christian Tettey, one of the founding fathers of the NPP from Somanya, officially presented their parliamentary candidate, Hon. Richard Twum Barimah Koranteng, to the Yilo Klo Traditional Council at their council meeting.
The Traditional Council, under the able leadership of the President of the Council, Oklepeme Nuer Anorbaah Sasraku II, applauded the move, which put recognition on the traditional leadership in the area.
Oklepeme Nuer Anorbaah Sasraku II, Konor of Yilo Klo Traditional Area, in his brief statement, congratulated Hon. Richard Twum Barimah Koranteng and made it clear to him that the only interest of the Yilo Klo Traditional Council is the well-being of their people, and they’re ready to support anyone who is ready to bring development and help in the transformation agenda of the land, and they will not continue to watch politicians play with the well-being of their people anymore.
Nene Konor concluded by giving him the blessings of the traditional leadership as he cautioned him and the NPP leader present at the meeting to go and do decent politics.
Hon. Richard Twum Barimah Koranteng expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the entire Yilo Klo Traditional Council as he assured them that before seeking to represent the good people of Yilo Krobo Constituency, he has already done enough in the best interest of the citizens of Yilo Krobo, and he will continue to give his all in the best interest of transforming Yilo Krobo Constituency for a better future.
