All six survivors of a tragic accident involving an Opel Astra with registration number GT 6983-21, traveling from Asesewa to Odumase-Krobo, are currently in stable condition and receiving treatment at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Hospital, Agormanya.
The unfortunate incident occurred on the evening of Sunday, February 9, 2025. According to one of the victims, the vehicle veered off the road while attempting to avoid a pothole at Ayermasu in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
While all victims are reported to be stable, they have sustained varying degrees of injuries. The medical team at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Hospital has already initiated emergency case management. Further assessments, including CT scans, will be conducted to evaluate the severity of injuries and determine the appropriate treatment plan.
Meanwhile, the Odumase-Krobo District Police Command has launched an investigation into the incident to ascertain the exact cause of the crash.
