On Sunday, June 1st, 2025, the auditorium of the Immanuel Society, Agormanya (Methodist Church Ghana), hosted the 8th Edition of the Career Seminar, drawing a massive and enthusiastic audience.

The Career Seminar is an annual initiative organized by Dr. Winfred Korletey Baah, Acting Registrar of the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency. Over the years, the seminar has become a significant platform for empowering the youth by offering guidance on viable career paths and exposing them to the prospects and opportunities ahead.

This year’s edition brought together a panel of distinguished facilitators who delivered insightful presentations on career planning, decision-making, and scholarship opportunities. Their contributions offered participants both inspiration and practical knowledge to shape their future paths.

The seminar attracted notable interest from parents, many of whom accompanied their children to the event. Their involvement highlights the community’s growing commitment to youth development and the importance placed on early career planning.

Among the distinguished dignitaries present were Nene Agbau Narh IV, Djebiam Divisional Chief; Mr. Samuel Kwesi Tettey, Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Education Director; and Ing. Philip Tetteh Padi, President of Eagle Wing Coaching and Mentoring. Their presence underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in shaping the next generation of leaders.

The 8th Career Seminar was a clear testament to the power of mentorship, guidance, and community in building a brighter future for the youth of Krobo and beyond.
