A welding shop located at Nuaso Odjadornya in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality was gutted by fire destroying all valuable in the warehouse of the Shop.
The sad incident happened at the late hours of Thursday 21st May at about 9:30pm.
Before the Arrival of Fire fighters from the Somanya Fire Station due to the recent faults with the Kpong Fire Station’s Fire Engine, the fire had already caused major damage to everything in the warehouse.
The owner of the shop whose name gathered is Mr. Narteh Popularly known in the area as Narteh Welder couldn’t stand the damage caused to his warehouse by the fire as he returned home in tears.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the fire may have started from an electrical source within the warehouse as the fire officers has commenced with full investigation into the sad incident.
