1,074 final year students of Manya Krobo SHS (MAKROSEC) were successfully Inducted into the Makrosec Old Students Association (MAKOSA) in a colourful ceremony.

The memorable Induction ceremony which was held on Sunday 18th September 2022 at the School’s Assembly hall was officiated by high Court Judge, Justice Gabriel Mate-Teye Who doubled as the Acting President of MAKOSA.

As part of the same ceremony, the Management of the School organised a Thanksgiving service to expressed their heartiest appreciation to God almighty for taking this year’s batch through their Senior high education as they have some few days left as SHS students.

Mrs. Agnes Nanor, Headmistress of Makrosec in her address congratulated this year’s batch for being the best behaved year group since she assumed office as the Headmistress as she emphasized that she’s very optimistic that they will all come out in flying Colors in their exams.

She continued to entreat all her outgoing students to travel the rest of their life journey with the high moral discipline they have been trained with during their 3 years of stay in MAKROSEC which is a sure bet to help them achieve success in all their endeavors.

She concluded by challenging them to be great Ambassadors of the great MAKROSEC wherever they find themselves either in the academic world or their chosen career paths but they must always remember that MAKROSEC will forever be their home as it has been for some of them who equally passed through the walls of the great Makrosec.

Justice Gabriel Mate-Teye, Acting President of MAKOSA who is also the Chairman of the School’s Board in his Inaugural speech during the Induction ceremony of the new members of MAKOSA used the opportunity to applaud the outgoing students who are now official members of the Old Students Association of the school for staying as discipline students throughout their stay in Makrosec which made their stay great and easy for their teachers to impact knowledge into them which he is hopeful that it has helped in shaping their future in positive ways.

He continue to advise them to be very active year group in the MAKOSA fraternity which comes with several benefits to active members since the great Makrosec has produced and will continue to be producing great citizens who will be well place at positions of Nation importance which will benefit members most especially when climbing the academic ladder among others.

The ceremony saw several outstanding students being rewarded for their hard work with gifts from the Management of the school as well as individual teachers to acknowledge their efforts.

The students leadership of the 2021/2022 academic year group officially handed over to their Predecessor in a very emotional manner as the outgoing leadership tasked their Juniors to live up to expectation since that’s the best possible way to keep the golden reputation of the great Makrosec going high heights.

The Management of the School has organized a special feast with the final year students after the Induction and Thanksgiving service.
