Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, Municipal Chief Executive for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality and stakeholders in the Municipality were impressed with the progress of work at the 2 projects sites they visited on Friday 21st January, 2022.
As part of arrangements by the Management of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly, in the Eastern Region to get stakeholders involved in monitoring ongoing projects in the area, on Friday 22nd January the team visited the ongoing project site of the Bituminous surfacing of 1.20km Canna and Kpanyas town roads at Nuaso Newtown and the Construction site of the Modern Business Advisory Center at the Municipal Assembly.
Both projects are at advance stages since the contract durations deadline for the projects are near.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh despite being very happy with the quality and progress of the work at both sites they visited entreated the contractors to put in more finishing strength to enable them meet the construction contract deadline date.
The two above mentioned projects which are being executed by Mamanjia Limited and Samotrust Company Limited are the second phase projects under the Ghana Secondary Cities Development Program which is a performance based fund and the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly is the only Assembly in the Krobo bloc of the Eastern Region which has qualified for both the first one and two phase of the development initiative.
