Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality has received a Honorary Doctorate In Humane Letters. The Honorary degree is awarded persons who have significantly contributed to society.

The award which was presented by the Elohim Theological College & Seminary is an Educational Arm for United Clergy International Association accredited by World Ecumenical Accreditation Network to recognize the selfless and dedicated services of MCE to his people.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh and three others received this Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters on Saturday 4th June, 2022 in a colourful ceremony held at the Conference Center of Royal Hotel, Somanya in the Yilo Krobo Municipality.

The other three recipient are Nene Teye Adjiso III, Chief of Suisi Menekpo in the Manya Krobo Traditional area, Bobbie Kwabena Kingsley who is the Omanhene of Tafoman – Adjena with the Stool name as Kyei Boadu Akofena Stool.

Rev. Dr. Benjamin Kumi, who is currently the head of Diagnostic and Medical Investigation at Ghana Health Services, Yilo Krobo Municipal Hospital, Somanya made up the number of 4 high profiled personalities with unique credentials that were honored with this Honorary degree which is awarded for significant contributions to society.

Bishop Dr. Kwame Aburam Anoff Sr., Executive Chairman For United Clergy International Association Worldwide addressing the special ceremony congratulated the recipients of the Honorary Doctorate In Humane Letters for their outstanding achievements in their various chosen Professional careers which has attracted this honor to them as he welcomed them to the board of the College.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo speaking to the media after the ceremony used the opportunity to expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for giving him the opportunity to serve his people as he further expressed his heartiest appreciation to the good people of the Krobo Land area for accepting and supporting him which has brought glories and recognitions to himself and the entire community as he assured all of his continuous commitment to serve them wholeheartedly in the best interest of transforming the Krobo Land area for the better.
