Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality has called for continuous stakeholders engagement to address and safeguard the educational structures in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
Addressing the gathering of Science teachers drawn from both Public and Private schools in the Municipality at the opening ceremony of a 2-days Capacity building Science workshop at Atua Presby Church Auditorium, he appeals to the teachers to keep giving their all in the best interest of the students who are the future leaders of this country.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh continue to assure the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Education Directorate of the Municipal Assembly under his able leadership commitment to keep supporting the GES in the area to enable them keep organising similar important training workshops to help build the capacity of the teachers who are key stakeholders in the education sector.
The Science Workshop which was organized by the Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the Municipal Education Directorate was fortunate to have a renowned Science Chief Examiner, Mr. Peter Logo as the main facilitator who appreciate the efforts of stakeholders in the area for organization this all important capacity Building workshop which he emphasize that these among others efforts are the ways to improve the academic results in the area.
Mr. Williams Kwaku Odoi, Municipal Director of Education in his speech acknowledged the several efforts and supports from the Municipal Assembly under the leadership of Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh.
He used the opportunity to expressed their heartiest appreciation to the Hon. MCE and the entire leadership of the Municipal Assembly for the remarkable decision to build a permanent administrative office for the Municipal Education Directorate where their are currently operating from which is very historic in the administration of Education in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
