Madam Helen Tettey, 37 years already mother to 5 children including twins gave birth to Quintuplets (5 girls) at the St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya.

She delivered through emergency Caesarean section (CS) by Dr. Bansah Miriam Theodorah, a medical officer at the St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya in the early hours of Wednesday 13th July, 2022.
Both Mother and all five babies are currently stable and receiving post delivery care at the St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya.

Dr Dela, head Medical Doctor at the Baby and NICU Unit of St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya in an exclusive interview with www.krobolandonline.com indicates that despite the fact that the babies were delivered after barely week 28 weeks which makes them Pre Term babies, the facility is well resourced in both Personal and equipment to manage them for now and their not in any rush to refer them at this early stages which my put the babies at risk.

Mr. Emmanuel Bosompim, Administrator of St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya in a separate interview assured of the full commitment of the facility to assist their client and her babies most especially in this mixed feelings situation since a lot as in resources will be needed to give them the best of care.

He continue to use the opportunity to call on government, social organizations and well meaning Ghanaians to come to the aid of Madam Halen Tettey, the Mother of Quintuplets and her babies since their survival currently depends on a lot including some emergency medical supplies.

Confirmed information gathered indicates that the Management and staff at the St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya which turned 75 Years recently contributed some amount of monies in the early hours to be able to be taking care of both the Mother and her 5 Children as they await for external assistance.
