The Agormanya main Market in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality is set to receive major face-lift with 188 lockable stores.

The initiative is under the Ghana Secondary cities project with funding from World Bank.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for area disclosed this at an engagement meeting with stakeholders and traders held at the market square.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh told the traders that all is set for the project to commence and it is expected to be completed within 5 calendar months.

The Hon. MCE assured them that with the comprehensive data of persons that will be affected by the project, the Assembly with the documentation backing their agreement with those affected people, they will be given priority when the project is completed and they are making allocations.
