Six people are confirmed dead, two males and four females, in a very fatal accident that occurred in the early hours of today, March 25, 2023, opposite KINGDACOCO, near Akuse Junction in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
A Hyundai Grace with Registration Number GB 4644 – 20 from Juapong to Accra was involved in a head on collision with a Long heavy duty track GT 6473-21 as the Hyundai vehicle tries to over take a damaged Granbird Bus which was parked at the accident spot.
Six other people who are seriously injured, including the driver of the Hyundai vehicle, are currently receiving treatment at the Akuse Government Hospital.
Road users are hereby cordially advised to drive with extra caution to save lives and properties, especially when approaching that stretch as police and fire service operations are currently working to free the road.
